With the arrival of spring comes the cravings for lighter and fresher ingredients—this includes cocktails. Here, we spoke with some of Miami’s best mixologists and bartenders around to see what’s in their glass this spring.

 

Derek Stilmann: Langford Speciale

“This spring I am all about barrel aging solera-style, which is blending different aged batches together to achieve different flavor profiles. My go-to cocktail is a complex, yet refreshing spirit-driven cocktail that is deep in flavor, but really easy to drink. The Langford Speciale at the our new rooftop American craft cocktail bar, Pawn Broker, uses Troy & Sons Platinum, Ron Zacapa, Carpano Antica vermouth, Solbeso, Tempus Fugit crème de cacao, chocolate bitters, and a house mushroom tincture.
