PB Station: Don’t Miss This Downtown Miami Stop
In Miami Food Pug
When we first heard a Pubbelly restaurant would be opening on the mainland, our ears perked up. We love the PB boys, but making it out to the beach to visit their restaurants can sometimes be a hassle. After learning that PB Station would open with the Langford Hotel in Downtown Miami, we waited for construction of the building to finish. And waited. And waited some more.
The hotel, which was scheduled to open last year, finally opened a little over a month ago, and so did PB Station. The New American craft eatery is designed to look like a train station — think Grand Central, not Metrorail — and it certainly took us for a tasty ride. We liked it all, but here’s what we liked the most about this new Downtown hotspot.
The Seafood Charcuterie: This is not your typical meat board. Why? 1) There’s no meat and 2) it’s better. If the name deters you, don’t think about it — just do it. Instead of the usual (and boring) options like Serrano ham, salami and the like, you can choose from delicious offerings like rock shrimp mortadella and OCTOPUS PEPPERONI. If you can’t tell, we really like the latter. Its super surprising (and awesome) flavor profile really sold us — the spice and tang from the casing is legit. You can’t go wrong with either option. We need to go back for the Thai lobster sausage; A+ for creativity.
