Making Sense of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Abundance of Dining Options

No other brand comes close to what Norwegian Cruise Line offers as much dining variety at sea, but with so many choices may also come a great deal of confusion. The company itself has even drafted a fleet grid outlining all the complimentary and specialty options per ship to help.


The newest Norwegian Escape features the most unique a la carte-priced dining venues with Bayamo by Jose Garces, Pincho Tapas Bar by Jose Garces, District Brew House, The Cellars and Food Republic by the Pubbelly Restaurant Group, altogether found nowhere else in the fleet.

Also unique to the three newest ships (Breakaway, Getaway and Escape) are Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Sea, plus Dolce Gelato and The Bake Shop treats. Other cafe varieties are available fleet-wide. Offerings are additionally available at the Vibe Beach Club or Posh on the aforementioned trio and Norwegian Epic. All again are offered a la carte.

Otherwise, for a meal and a show, the Breakaway, Getaway, Escape, Epic and even Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Gem offer dinner and lunch performances costing between $23.60 and $47.19 per person flat.
