Mother’s Day Dining Guide 2017



Mother’s Day happens this Sunday. Stuck on where you can go enjoy your mom and spoil her? Get the full rundown on where you should go below:


Pubbelly Sushi
Both Pubbelly Sushi locations will celebrate Mother’s Day with a five-course Omakase at $60 per person. Menu highlights can also be ordered a la carte and include a Tuna Poke Tostada with tuna, cucumber, pickled carrot, avocado, cilantro and jalapeno aioli ($12); Spicy Lobster Tempura Roll with lobster tempura, masago, tomato, grilled portobello, red soy paper and chili mayo ($16); and for dessert a Chocolate Santandagui with Passion Fruit Curd ($9). Toast to Mom with a Mama Mia!!! with Beefeater Gin (Junmai Sake at Sunset Harbour), sage, fresh strawberry, lime juice, and sparkling rosé sake ($14).


Pubbelly Noodle Bar
Pubbelly Noodle Bar will be honoring mom with a four-course Omakase at $50 per person. Menu highlights can also be ordered a la carte and include a Scallop Crudo with cucumber-yuzu, compressed cucumber, heirloom radishes, garlic chips and greens ($18); Foie Gras with dulce de leche, caviar, apple “pain perdu” ($27); and specialty sake “Mama’s Punch” with Junmai sake, pomegranate, ginger, raspberries and sparking rose ($9). Assorted desserts by Pastry Chef, Maria Orantes ($9).


Pawn Broker
Pawn Broker will be hosting Mother’s Day brunch featuring specialty cocktail, Mama’s Pawn, a glass of Rosé infused with Hibiscus and Grapefruit ($11) and Crawfish Boil with live New Orleans crawfish, smoked marble potatoes and Zellwood corn ($18 per ½ lb). Additional bar brunch highlights include Grilled Oysters off the BBQ served with apple mignonette & kimchee cocktail sauce ($3 each) and a Cajun Crab Cake with Cajun mustard aioli ($15), lump crab meat and apple slaw. There will also be assorted desserts by Pastry Chef, Maria Orantes ($9).
