New restaurants and bars are always popping up. To save you the trouble, we’ve put together a list of noteworthy openings on the culinary scene across the Americas (and beyond).


PB Ysla — San Juan, Puerto Rico

Chef Jose Mendin extends his culinary reach to San Juan, Puerto Rico with his new restaurant, PB Ysla. Part of Mendin’s Pubbelly Group, PB Ysla is his first restaurant in his hometown of San Juan. Located down the road from where Mendin was born, the spot dishes up a menu of fresh and seasonal island ingredients, blended with Asian and European cooking techniques. Menu highlights include pork belly with butterscotch miso, corn powder, and squash, a corn soup agnolotti with truffle foam, and a short rib tartare.
